Fantastisk upplevelse: Great gym! Amazing and friendly staff that nurtured great hospitality. The routes were very well set and diverse. Even as a shorter climber, I feel like the routes were still accessible. The gym staff even demonstrated the 8A! amazing! Definitely THE gym to visit if you’re in Gothenburg!!

Fantastisk upplevelse: Otroligt härlig atmosfär med bra musik och härlig stämning. Nya väggar varje vecka vilket är roligt. Kanske lite litet men antalet människor matchar med storleken så det gör ingenting! Öl- försäljning och bastu gör avslutet på klättringen riktigt go. Rekommenderar starkt för alla‍♀️

Fantastisk upplevelse: This is my favourite place to climb in Gothenburg. The gym has seven sections, and one of them changes every week. Because of this, the holds are always well maintained. There are always new problems for climbers of all levels. The gym also has a Moonboard, a Spraywall, and a section for warming up or doing training off the wall. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Positiv upplevelse: First time going to a climbing gym and I felt that it was a bit crowded on a Tuesday afternoon. It did have a bit of chalk in the air (ventilation could be improved), but overall I had a very good time. Student discounts are available and it’s DOG FRIENDLY ! I brought my dog (she’s very well behaved) and she had a great time :)

Fantastisk upplevelse: Härlig atmosfär och välsatta problem i en astetisk lokal med hög service, bastu gym och kiosk finns. mycket bra läge då det är centralt men undanstoppat, parkering finns alltid och buss går ett stenkast bort

Fantastisk upplevelse: Super trevlig personal! Roliga banor och härlig lokal.

Negativ erfarenhet: It was extremely overcrowded, with a literal queue for a route. The rule that you must take off your shoes at the entrance and walk in socks to the changing room is really inconvenient. Moreover, there are no lockers there - you have to hang all your clothes on one coat hook and carry all your valuables with you, which is just insane. After washing hands, there is nothing to dry them with. Also, the man at the desk was not friendly. Since it was my first time in this gym, I expected some questions and explanations about the gradings, the location of the changing rooms, different zones, rules, etc., but it was literally just “pay and that’s it.” I’ve been to many gyms in different countries, and this was the worst “first-time in this gym” communication experience. After changing, when I wanted to go to the desk to rent some chalk, I had to wait for about seven minutes since there was no one there.

Positiv upplevelse: Great gym. However, one remark: there could be better ventilation. When I was there there was this cloud of chalk hanging in the air irritating my airways a little. Other than that the routes are great and the vibe is good.

Positiv upplevelse: Felt like a really professional gym that had most everything even if it was a smaller gym. My only issue was the boulders were quite difficult for a beginner

Fantastisk upplevelse: Was in Goteborg for work for 5 days and popped by twice. Nice place with well equipped training area, friendly staff and great setting. They've got modern and old school boulders of a wide variety of styles. And all set pretty damn well As someone who typically avoids slabs (being useless at them), I was surprised at how much fun I had working the slabs recommended by the staff (sorry I didn't get your name...) Definitely would recommend

Fantastisk upplevelse: En av stans bästa klätterställen. Fräscht och bra byggda leder med tydlig märkning. Har bastu och försäljning av lättare alkoholhaltiga drycker, ett stort plus!

Positiv upplevelse: Super nice! The boulders are great! The only thing I didn't like was not being able to pay in cash for the day pass.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Sehr schöne Halle mit allem was man braucht. Der Platz in der relativ kleinen Halle wird optimal genutzt und die Routen sind vielfältig.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Beautiful bouldering gym with friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and very creative, interesting and fun routes. We enjoyed our time a lot and found lots of great problems at grades 6a/b. (Unfortunately, I'm not experienced enough to comment on the more difficult levels but there seems to be a good selection on offer as well).

Fantastisk upplevelse: Its fun. Many boulders and sauna. Nice staff. Good for beginner. New boulders every monday on one side of the wall.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Currently my favorite place to boulder in Gothenburg. Clean. Properly graded problems of good range (4ish-7ish). Good selection of 6a:s-6c:s, I'm not good enough climber to talk about higher grades. Only negative is that it is a bit on the small side.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Small gym but wasn’t busy on a Thursday evening. Plenty of interesting routes and all individually graded which makes progression easier. Very easy to get to and close to the city centre! I definitely recommend checking out this bouldering gym if you’re staying in Gothenburg.

Fantastisk upplevelse: One of the best (also cheapest I guess) boulder gyms in the city. Really tidy and clean gym with a nice atmosphere and helpful staff. It is maybe not that big, but had quite fun problems (at least by the time I was there) which I really enjoyed it. The warm-up area is a bit small (which is not that uncommon in Gothenburg), but it shouldn't be a problem if it is not crowded.

Positiv upplevelse: A bit pricey considering how few boulders and lack of height there is compared to some other gyms in Gothenburg. The shoes you rent are good though and not too worn out.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Bra boulder klättring , lederna byts ut regelbundet, rent och fint, trevliga omklädningsrum, finns även bastu.

Positiv upplevelse: Lived around the corner but completely missed the place as it's really hard to find. I enjoyed it. Less of a bro atmosphere than other climbing gyms in town.

Negativ erfarenhet: Though the staff is friendly, the gym is incredibly crammed and feels like a place where others don't follow etiquette. Nice facility but not the best atmosphere or space for bouldering.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Grymt gym för bouldering som är större än vad man först tror (kan dock bli lite trångt ibland). Leder byts ut med bra mellanrum och det är oftast tydligt vilken färg ett grepp är, till skillnad från vissa andra gym där allt är grått

Fantastisk upplevelse: Very clean, friendly and well planned gym with fun problems. Very frequent re-setting and diverse problems. Even the beginner boulders are diverse and interesting. Boulder of the week is always fun, too! For injured/older climbers there are jugs to climb down on! This was very helpful for me when I had twisted my ankle. Can recommend it! Go there!

Fantastisk upplevelse: Had an amazing time there! Very friendly persons behind and in front of the counter. Everything was pretty clean. Sort of small compared to what I am used to in Berlin, but more than sufficient amount of problems imo. Would definitely go again if I am back in Göteborg.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Eine sehr schöne Boulderhalle mit kreativen Tracks für alle Level. Die Halle an sich und auch die Umkleidekabinen und Duschen sind sauber und es gibt sogar eine Sauna. Hier solltet ihr auf jeden Fall mal vorbei schauen.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Bra ställe att börja klättra bouldering på. Finns många olika nivåer av klätterleder från jätte nybörjare till rutinerad. Väggarna har olika lutningar och bygga om ungefär varannan vecka (en vägg i taget). Det kan bli väldigt trångt vissa dagar/tider speciellt när klätterskolor börjar köra vilket gör det svårt att klättra på de mer populära/nyare väggarna. Personalen är duktiga klättrare som gärna kommer med tips och trix om man frågar men lämnar än ifred om man inte är så pratglad själv

Fantastisk upplevelse: Boulder only place with friendly staff and a unisex sauna with room for maybe maximum 8 people (no talking since it's a relax sauna). It costs 140 SEK or so to enter and climb all day. The showers take 2 people at a time. They use the french numerical grading system if I remember correctly. Although everything is "ish". E.g. "6b ish". May be very crowded from 5-6 in the afternoon.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Jag är främst repklättrare, men måste säga att Backa boulder gav mig mersmak för bouldering! Roliga problem som täcker upp hela skalan av grad man vill klättra. Tunga leder blandat med tekniska! Ja, och särdeles trevlig personal också. Genomtänkt och professionellt är känslan. Kan rekommendera!

Fantastisk upplevelse: Great gym close to the city centre. Not the biggest gym but the setting is dense enough that there's plenty of problems. Setting is great, super variety of problems at any grade and some really nice flowy problems. Hold selection is a nice mix of small and big. Moonboard, chaoswall, campus board and training area. You can buy soft drinks and beer. Parking next to the gym required an app that only works if you live in Sweden. Update march 2024, still a great gym with good problem variety. Really getting a lot from the space available. Parking now uses easypark.

Fantastisk upplevelse: Great place; nice problems, friendly staff and a clean changing room/shower! I would recommend it if you already have experience with climbing. They don't have that much easy boulders.

Positiv upplevelse: Otroligt ny idé, tycker så mycket om denna platsen, provat klättra på väggarna många gånger, på olika färger det är super spännande upplevelse. Om de jobbar mer på att få bort illa luktar, fötterna luktar dåligt , kanske det e mattorna inte vet jag Rekommenderar den platsen i alla fall
